From as early as the 1950's my father Hrant Elmayan worked as Chief Technician in several known companies gaining experience in Mechanics, Electricity and Hydraulics. In 1958 he decided to start his own business aiming to import and service Gas Station Equipment in Lebanon. Working by his own hands he installed the first gas stations ever in many parts of the country. In the sixties my uncle Kaloust who was a trained lath worker, joined him to form a Partnership company under the name of "Hrant & Kalous Elmayan Brothers".

The two major brands they imported as exclusive agents were SATAM (France) for Petroleum Dispensers/Hydraulic Equipment and GRUNDFOS (Denmark) for Cleaning and Water Supply pumps.

During the nineties the company became a Family business with the involvement of myself (Krikor) and my cousin Avedis Elmayan who brought their own force into the business. As holders of degrees in Electronic and Computer Technologies, we invested in the import and manufacturing of advanced equipment to nurture the market's up-to-date needs.

Now, after more than half a century, we are proud of the Name we have. "Elmayan" for Petroleum and Cleaning equipment, has become an emblem for QUALITY, EXPERIENCE, SERVICE.

Our current Offices & Workshop are situated in Dora, Bank of Beirut Street, P.O.Box 80233, Lebanon, in the same zone as the Country's major Petroleum companies.
